My formal art education began in high school with Early College Courses at the Art Institute of Chicago. I continued on to earn my Bachelor of Fine Art degree from Creighton University, spending one semester abroad with Studio Arts Center International in Florence, Italy. My undergraduate work consisted of mainly large scale oil paintings and metal sculpture.

Upon finishing school my work evolved from large to small and from paint to pencil and oil pastels. I have been displaying my work publicly since 1994 in a variety of venues. For the the last ten years I have changed more diapers that any one person should. I have been fortunate enough to stay home with our four very sticky boys. My husband encourages me to get to the studio as often as possible. I have shown my work here and there over this past decade and as our boys grow I look forward to my work growing as well.
